Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal

Don’t forget, Saturday May 21st we will be discussing Lamb by Christopher Moore at 1 PM.  On June 4th we will be chatting about Melissa de La Cruz’s teen fantasy novel Blue Bloods.  All of our book discussions are open forum, and everyone is welcome to come talk about the book.

Christopher Moore’s Lamb:  The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal is witty and irreverent.  The book looks at Christ’s life between his birth and the Sermon on the Mount (or the lost 30 years) and humorously as well as fictitiously fills in the gaps.  He and his friend Biff are traveling around and learning about life, and of course getting into trouble.  Moore does a great job of presenting historical information in a comical way.
