We are still frantically reading the works by authors attending the festival.  I have started reading The Lost Duke of Wyndham by Julia Quinn.  This is a romance novel about finding a lost heir, and of course forbidden love.  The story takes place in the 19th century where arranged marriages are  still fairly common, but marriages based on love are starting to become more popular.  I have enjoyed the atmosphere Quinn has created.  It strikes me as a more modern version of an Austen novel with the courting, witty banter, and the denial of love.
