October Book Discussions

We are really excited for the month of October because we are able to have 3 book discussions.

On October 2nd we will be reading Jane Boleyn:  The True Story of the Infamous Lady Rochford by Julia Fox.  This is a non-fiction piece about the woman who brought the Boleyn family down, or did she?  This is a great historical book that takes you into the Tudor dynasty at its turning point.

On October 16th we will be reading the classic To Kill A MockingBird by Harper Lee. This book is having its 50th anniversary this year, so we decided that was a good enough reason to reread the novel.  This is a coming-of-age novel about a girl whose father is defending a black man against a crime he did not commit during a prejudice time in the south.

On October 30th we will be reading Covet by J.R. Ward.  This is a paranomal book and the start of the Fallen Angel series.  This piece is about a man who becomes a fallen angel and must save the souls of seven people.

And don’t forget, we will be discussing Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen this Saturday, September 18th.  All of are discussions take place at 1pm here in the store and everyone is welcome.
