VINEYARD CHILL Philip R. Craig 2008
It is with great regret I write this review, this author has been one of my favorites writing about Martha’s Vineyard through the eyes of our hero, J.W. Jackson, gentle solver of mysteries through the people that wash up on the shores of the island. He’s a cook, fisherman and seems
to know a great many interesting folks. I will miss him greatly. The occasional recipes have been a bonus feature (and great recipes, too). This one solves two mysteries, both due to J.W.’s loyalty to his friends. I always thought the character was based on the author, at the
very least attributed the love of the Vineyard to him. The end of a lovely series, if you haven’t read them, start with any one of the titles with Vineyard in them, they stand alone exceptionally well.
