Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow: My Life

Being a long time fan of Sophia Loren’s, I have read many snippets of gossip and bits of her personal story. Her new autobiography, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow:  My Life,  pulls it all together. She speaks of her childhood and what is was like growing up in war-torn Italy, how she got her start in acting, her family and food. One of my favorite things about her is how tied to home and family she is. If you’re looking for gossip and dishing on costars, you won’t find any negativity here. She tells about her friendships with Richard Burton, Audrey Hepburn and others, and shares lots of photos from her childhood and of fellow celebrities. Some of my favorite photos were of letters she wrote as a child, and also letters she received from Cary Grant. A tasteful, fascinating read about a truly genuine individual.
