Tucson Festival of Books 2016 Wrap-Up

We had such a wonderful time at this year’s Tucson Festival of Books.  A big thank you to everyone who came to visit us!  Here is a glimpse of our crazy weekend.

Here are our events for October:

Saturday, October 10th (1:00 – 2:45 PM): Adult Coloring Afternoon.  Come color away your stress.  Bring your coloring book and we will supply the crayons, colored pencils, and markers. (This group is 14 and up)

Saturday, October 10th (2:00 – 3:00 PM): Book Signing with B. J. Kurtz, Challenging Fate.

Saturday, October 10th (3:00 – 5:00 PM): Pima Writers Group discussing writing memoirs.  Click here to register and view topics.

Sunday, October 11th (1:00 – 2:00 PM): Book Talk & Signing with Dr. Kenneth Cohn, Laughter & Tears: A Veterinarian’s Memoir and Advice

Wednesday, October 14th (7:00 – 8:00 PM): YA Book Club, The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson.  (This group is 17 and up)

Saturday, October 24th (2:00 – 3:30 PM): YA Authors Shonna Slayton and Amy Nichols Book Talk & Signing.  Ms. Slayton will be featuring Cinderella’s Shoes and Ms. Nichols will be featuring While You Were Gone.  Although, both will have be happy to sign their other book as well.
